Real estate startup IGLUU found a powerful story and convinced the bank
How to help IGLUU to start cooperation with a large Czech bank in the field of lead management? And why would a bank even want to do it? These were the questions that a new real estate startup, in the summer of 2022, was looking to answer with the help of STARTÉR, led by Jan and Eduard. Over the course of 2 weeks, the team of 8 people managed to understand the critical problem of the bank that IGLUU could solve, finding 3 strong scenarios for collaboration with an expected increase in profitability of the financial house, with revenue of 100+ million CZK. The scenarios were developed by the team into a customer journey, a clickable prototype and a set of requirements validated with legal, risk, IT and architecture. Subsequent user testing of the prototype, led by Olga, verified the usability of the design and led to the planning of the development for the next program increment.

PRE extends digital service along the entire customer journey
On the eve of the covid pandemic, the Prague Energy Group had been fully aware of the growing importance of the digital space in sales and customer service, along with the new demands that these channels had to meet at the time. It all had started with the concept of developing the Group's digital channels with Jan’s and Pavel’s pencils. They had helped PRE identify key development areas along the entire customer journey, recommended changes to the operating model and technical architecture, and designed a project that would deliver the new public and private sites. The concept had been approved, and transformation activity had been underway. Pavel and Jan had continued with the formulation of the specification, requirements catalog, and project plan. Once the concept had been approved, they created a brief for the tender for external contractors.

Financing projects of the investment group ČMFS using a new crowdfunding product
It was 2021, and the real estate market had been at its highest performance in history. The established investment group CMFS had been considering how to engage retail investors to finance the purchase of new properties. This had been a significant innovation that the Group had no experience with. Therefore, Pavel and the client first had to go through an analysis of the current market and competitive environment. They continued with a series of workshops, during which they had jointly defined a new product - a crowdfunding platform. They had formulated hypotheses about who the target audience was, how the new product would create value, and how it would position itself in the current market. Pavel had then developed the project specification into a detailed tender document for the supplier tender and calculated a rough budget for the complete work to be done.

Seamless merger of two banks, unifying product offerings, processes and systems for 3 million clients
The largest merger of two banks this decade, completely seamlessly. Although ČSOB took over IPB (Poštovní spořitelna) in 2000, they continued to operate as two separate banks with different products, processes and systems. That was until 2021, when the final merger was decided. Pavel played an important role, suggesting technical design, client communication and organizational changes. He also planned and helped to implement the entire event. The merger went so smoothly that clients and the public only found out about it when the "repainting of the signs" began. They reacted positively to the announcement and the helplines that were on standby didn’t even need to be in place.

Our persistence convinced a traditional institution to go digital
It was 2021, and a renowned building society was still sending its clients loan agreements in hard copy by post. Clients then had to take them to a sales representative of the savings bank and sign them together. Previous attempts at digitalization were met with objections from lawyers, methodologists, risk managers, and security officers. This time was different. Jiří was not deterred and had gradually drawn everyone into solving the problem. Together they looked for different solutions, agreed on a compromise, and launched a pilot run on 5% of the distribution network. The results exceeded expectations, and today the distribution of documentation is electronic, the time needed to conclude a contract has been reduced by 7 days, and 3 full-time positions have been saved.

Quick identity verification via CSOB ID
The joint work of the largest banking houses in the Czech Republic, Banking Identity, has been helping millions of users since 2022 when communicating with state authorities, private entities, or signing contractual documents. It was not only a great idea and extraordinary cooperation behind it, but it was also a sophisticated technical solution on the part of the participating banks. For ČSOB, Ales designed the IT architecture of the ČSOB ID identity service. It was a tough nut to crack: the solution had to meet the demanding requirements for performance, security, and robustness of the architecture. The result was excellent. ČSOB I'D was a fast and seamless solution that has never experienced an outage or security incident during its existence.
